ABOUT

This project is an innovative combined AI-driven and knowledge system based approach to the problem of inconsistent referee decision making in foil fencing. It combines modern computer vision and pose estimation methods with domain expert knowledge in order to deliver fast and accurate decisions based on objective metrics which are thoroughly tested on a significant sample size of bouts, widely representative of common scenarios found in foil fencing.
